  Ilam University of Medical Sciences-  Psychosocial Injuries Research Center (PIRC)                                                                                                                                                                        

Psychosocial Injuries Research Center (PIRC) was established in 2008, later in the 41nd session of the Council for the Development of Universities of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education in 16 - NOV - 2014, the permanent establishment of the center was approved. PIRC was setup to prevent and decrease the psychosocial injuries including mental disorders, violence, suicide and divorce in Ilam province, also to provide information for decision making about intervention programs to reduce of psychosocial injuries. Our mission at PIRC is to promote and facilitate researches in all of the psychosocial injuries.
